석사학위과정, 석·박사학위통합과정 : 학사학위 소지(예정)자 또는 법령에 의하여 이와 동등 이상의 학력이 있다고 인정된 자

지원학과가 학사학위과정 졸업학과와 동일하지 않아도 지원 가능함

지원학과가 학사학위과정 졸업학과와 동일하지 아니한 학과에 입학한 자는 석사학위과정 이수학점(24학점) 이외에 지원학과에서 정한 보충학점을 이수하여야 한다.

박사학위과정: 석사학위 소지(예정)자 또는 법령에 의하여 이와 동등 이상의 학력이 있다고 인정된 자

박사학위과정에 지원하는 자는 석사학위과정에서 이수한 전공학과와 동일한 계통학과 출신자여야 함을 원칙으로 한다. 다만, 석사학위과정에서 이수한 전공학과와 다른 계통학과에 지원하고자 할 경우에는 지원학과 주임교수의 추천을 받아 지원하여야 한다.

박사학위과정에 지원하고자 하는 자 중에서 특수대학원 또는 다른 계통학과 졸업(예정)자는 “박사학위과정 추천서” 에 우리대학원 지원학과 주임교수의 추천을 받아 지원하여야 하며, 박사학위과정 이수학점(36학점) 이외에 지원 학과에서 정한 보충학점을 이수하여야 한다.

전형방법은 특별전형으로 하며 면접고사, 서류전형, 기타 방법으로 실시한다.

전형은 언어능력과 전공능력으로 평가하며, 우리대학교 대학원위원회의 심의를 거쳐 합격자를 선발한다.

서류전형의 경우 지원자와의 전화 통화 내용, 하위(학사, 석사) 학위과정 성적표, 이수과목 등에 의한 객관적인 근거에 의거 평가한다.

Foreign students whose parents are both foreigners

Overseas Koreans or foreigners who have completed courses equivalent to elementary, secondary, and college education in Korea, and meet the following requirements:

For Master's or Integrated Master's and Doctoral Degree Programs
Those who have, or are expected to complete, a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent as stipulated by regulations.

Applicants who have a Bachelor's degree in a different field can apply.

Those who apply for a field different from that of their Bachelor's degree should take additional courses designated by the department in addition to the 24 required credits.

For Ph.D. Programs
Those who have, or are expected to complete, a Master's degree or its equivalent as stipulated by regulations.

Only applicants who have a Master's degree in the same field can apply. Those who apply for a field different from that of their Master's degree, however, should receive a recommendation from the head professor of the department for which they are applying.

Applicants who have a Master's degree in a special or different field should receive a recommendation (Attachment 4) from the head professor of the department for which they are applying and also take additional courses designated by the department in addition to the 36 required credits.

The methods consist of an interview, document screening, and other evaluations.

The procedures will be carried out in two screening stages and the final decision will be made by the Graduate School Committee.

In order to verify the submitted documents, CNU will interview those involved via phone, and will check transcripts from applicants' previous schools and resume.

Screening Methods

Applicants will be admitted in order of higher total score, regardless of the program applied for.

Scores will be indicated to two decimal places.

Applicants who score less than 60% in each of rubrics 1 and 2 will not be admitted.

The time and location will be chosen by the relevant department on May 13, 2009.  For further information, contact the department prior to screening.

Documents should be submitted in the following order (any non-Korean documents must be translated). 
Documents that are not in Korean must be accompanied by a Korean or English notarized translation. 

Incomplete documents will NOT be accepted.

The following documents should be issued no earlier than two years before the submission date.

Admission will be posted on the CNU web site at http://admgraduate.jnu.ac.kr on June 2, 2009 at 16:00. Since there will not be individual notification, applicants should visit the web site to make sure if they are admitted.
